Little Charms Sending a Big Message - Charm Necklaces

Charms are the big thing heading into fall 2016 according to Harper's. 

I love the simple statement that a charm cluster makes. That simple statement by no means is less powerful in the right combinations. 

This piece is light blue hand made ceramic bead with little spots. It is playful with the seed bead charms,  and the color blue let's people know you are a believer in peace. Paired with a tiny chalcedony bead for brotherhood, and look at what you are saying! 

 This tiny charm cluster of calcite, amethyst, labradorite and swarovski crystal is a message of peace. Amethyst is the stone of peace and labradorite and calcite reduce stress. Beautiful!!!

All of my creations are based on the metaphysical properties of the stones or the colors that are incorporated. Jewelry should be a window to our soul, a protector of our emotions and a companion to our spirit.

Where to Find me in May!!

I will be all around the area in May, first at the Friends of the Page Walker House, May 7th for Herb Fest

I will be joining my friends Judie and Julie. We will have the cutest boutique booth there!! Jewelry, prayer flags, wreaths, coasters, cards, seed packs so much!!!! Here is an example

Then again on May 14th in Fuquay-Varina, NC for the CreateFest!! Family fun with music, art and food!! Come out and dance with me!!!

Welcome March and Spring!!!

March is here, and welcome Spring!!!!

I am excited about the changes in the weather, the green grass, the white blooms of the bradford pear and decluttering!!!

I think we all start to re access ourselves after the first of the year. We ask things like, where am I going, what am I doing as the calendar re sets. Sometimes it is hard to begin when the days are dark and cold, but as spring comes, I know I put it into high gear and start to get things done!!!

I am applying to more galleries with my paintings, starting to do more events, like First Friday and applying to festivals. Moving and shaking to get my creations out to the public, locally and across the internet. I am more recently motivated, and I contribute that to the weather. 

To help with my focus, I have switched out my pendant from my moonstone to gaspeite. Gaspeite is for de cluttering and perfect to help keep me on track. 


So here is to doing big things, staying on track and accomplishing my goals of creating new works of art to share with my friends!!

First Friday in Raleigh

I am really excited to be showing tomorrow night in Raleigh for First Friday!!

This is absolutely the tightest pack I have ever done for a show!!!

I am showing at a little local bar called Drink Drank Drunk. The cutest place! So quaint, and cozy. Lots of room on the patio to visit and enjoy they weather, scenery and dogs!!!! 

It is the perfect combination for a fun night of celebrating local business and friends. 

I am concentrating on earrings and pendants due to the amount of space I have, but that doesn't mean I am limiting myself!! I have found some fun ways to display jewelry, and can't wait to show a pictures of the final presentation.
