Random fun - wire wrapped cuff

Had some fun working on a new wire cuff design. Instead of 'trying' to have a bit of a theme or color scheme - I just used random beads. Another great idea of what to do with your 'left overs'

Here is a close up

It fits nice and snug and literally goes with everything :) Is fun to look at because I can see left over beads from various pieces I have worked on. Is like a fun memory bracelet of projects past.

  1. I LIKE IT!! I just did a memory wire bracelet with some little leftovers and I love the randomness and color, however the memory wire just isn't working for me. It's ok I guess worn with my watch, but it's just not big girl enough, ya know? This on the other hand is sassy, sophisticated and fun!Enjoy:)

  2. I love your bracelet! I have been getting requests for cuff bracelets but I have no idea how to begin. Do you mind pointing me in the right direction? Thanks!

  3. Taneisha, I tried to leave a comment on your blog, but it won't let me. So I am commenting to your comment here - in hopes you stop back by. Keep after it girl - you are on the right track. As far as a point in the right direction for the cuff- i don't know. I saw a picture of one at beadinpath.com - they were offering classes on how to make em. I just looked at the picture and did a lot of trial and error. I use 14 ga red brass from rings & things for the base structure- it isn't as soft as copper. then i used 22 or 24 ga copper for the wrapping. from the looks of your pieces you have a grasp on basic wire wrapping - that is all it is. have you tried looking on youtube? maybe there is an instructional video there? I am sorry i don't have anymore information. I say follow your creativity - and your jewelry will be beautiful!!!
